i didn't find it cheesy, per se. enamel is the stuff that covers teeth, though.
though i'm not able think of another way to put it. so it's all good.

yea! see?! DAMMIT! ... i really hate, like... "enamel" ... but in this case, i figured with word association, people would go enamel:teeth:fangs
which is what i want
but i just... errrgh i want another word besides enamel...

oh you couldn't ruin softball for me! i found it funny, because they tease me about my vampire-ish canines. they're not vampire-size, but they're sharp as fuck. i've hurt myself many a time.

Oooh, ivory daggers sounds pretty good...But you're right Maniac, I usually do associate enamel with teeth, so that was probably the best descision.

Ya know, I was stuck on Ivory for a while... but i dunno... i guess everytime i heard "ivory" i thought of elephant tusks instead of teeth...

Things like that, though, having to describe a certain object, is one of the hardest things for me. I can never settle on one word for the color or texture...It is so frustrating!D:

yea seriously! and like, i couldnt have just settled with using "Fangs" there like a normal person... i had to make it all poetic and shit 
but i had a thought... what if, along with just idle chat, we can use this as maybe a call for help thread?
Like if, since we all have the same problem with vocabulary, we can say "hey, yo, how would you put--" blah blah blah?

but i tried looking up synonyms for "fangs" and "bone" and "enamel" on thesaurus.com and none worked...
though perhaps if i broadened my terms i could find something...
