Bella nodded and allowed herself to lean on Gee for support. The crowd was still cheering. Bella spoke into Gee's ear. "Take me home..well Back to our bunk. Either way that's where I wanna be. Either I will get stronger and will stick around just to pester you all..or..If I continue to get sicker...wull then on that bus...On that little rolling slice of heaven for me..is where I wanna be. In YOUR arms..Falling asleep there.., and hopefully waking up there morning after morning for a long, long time."

Gee didn't have to be told twice. He motioned to the others and they went into almost a formation. Brian had their security cut a swath through the backstage area and down and out to the bus.

Bella climbed on board. She felt as though she was coming home after a LONG trip away. The small bunk she a Gee now shared DID feel like a sanctuary.

She walked back to it. She was so dead tired she didnt even want to change. Gee could see what her "fairwell" had done to her. He helped her into the bunk and kissed her on her head. "Lift up for just a sec Bella Babe." he took her damp t-shirt from her, and then helped her slip her pants off. He grabbed thye jersey she had given him and slipped it over her head.
"Lay down Bella Baby. I will take care of you..I promise. Just let me set up a few things with the guys..I got plans Babe. WE are going ta find you a cure. But rest. I'll be back in a few."

He kissed her once more as he pulled a blanket over her. The air conditioning on the bus made it comfortable for everyone else. But Bella was shivering.
"I'll be back in no time Bella babe."

She nodded. Just knowing where she was, smelling his sent in their bunk was enough to calm her. She was asleep almost before Gee turned around. He went to the front of the bus..Something HAD to be done! Bella HAD to live!

Brian saw the look on Gee's face. "Coug? Casey? Bolt?..Could you get some bottled water from backstage before we leave?"

Gee was practically marching to the front of the bus. Gee looked at Mikes. Had their places been reversed he wouldn't want to have kept Bella in the dark about the WHOLE truth. "Casey? Could you stay for a minute please?" Mike's head flew up and his eyes questioned his brother. Bolt and Coug left with the big guard leading the way.

"Sh- Sure..I guess. Do you want me to sit with Bella?"

Gee looked at her. "Listen I don't have time to explain everything. Mikes can fill you in but...Just..I ..I LOVE Bella..I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can to save her. But whatever you hear today now...It HAS to stay on this bus...you Cannot discuss it with anyone other than the people around you right now...Can we trust you Casey? Can Bella count on you?"

Casey nodded. "What ever it is It MUST be important..But Yeah...I want to help Bella too..and the best thing for her is you..Whatever I hear...I won't tell a soul. I promise."

"Good! Gee turned to his brothers on the bus. "Because I don't care WHO we have to call..How many doctors we have to find. I don't care what their specialty is or how much it costs. I want Bella WELL! I don't want her to suffer."

Frank finally spoke as Gee stood there glaring. He said what everyone of the boys was all ready thinking "Wull...maybe ONLY you can help her. Maybe The doctors can't. Maybe.." Frank held his breath for just a second and looked at Casey. Both Mikes and Gee nodded. "If you both trust her...then I guess so do I..Maybe..Bella's only hope is you turning her...Maybe BELLA HAS to become a Vampire."

Bella woke up to the gentle rolling motion of the bus. She felt Gee's arms around her. She turned into his arms. "Love you." she murmured and was out again just as fast.

Gee was worried. She felt warm, WARMER that usual. Hot infact.

He knew in the morning she had a long day ahead of her.

Tests, Blood draws, and analysis and fuck only knew what else.

She was probably nervous about it all, and he knew that sometimes that made her temp rise.

He held her close. He had no idea what he was going to do if she kept getting sicker.
Gee had been careful to keep her on her meds, but...

He kissed her head and squeezed her. He whispered the words he'd first said to her the first night they made love. "I'm here Bella Babe...I'm NOT going anywhere."

Awww...poor Bella and Gerard.

You better not be killing them Lis or so help me...no cuppy cakes for you!!!!

Bella woke up seeing lights flashing, the lights were there every four beats or so. She peered through the curtains of the bunk. She could hear the boys talking softly.

Talking about her.

"She is strong right? I mean...she STILL could fight this Cancer off right?" Franky said softly. "She LOVES you Gee. She'll fight for you..She's NOT going to give up..not easily. Not now."

Gee sighed. "There are times...she sleeps SO deeply...that I am actually THANKFUL I have my vamp powers...That's what she calls them..If I didn't have them...If I could hear her heart...she gets SO STILL, SO COLD..." he visibly shuddered, "What if she dies in my arms...and I don't know it? What if I am out of it and she just...slips away?..What if she just...leaves me? Without me having a chance to tell her HOW MUCH I love her? With out a chance to say Goodbye?...What if I cant show her How MUCH she means to me?"

In the dark one corner of Bella's mouth turned up. She wanted to go to him, and tell him she knew...but she was also curious as to what the other guys thought.

Aww...Bella. You know the guys love ya too (though Bob loves Cougar better ) But waiting can't hurt. Everyone wants to know they are loved!

Bella sat in the bunk. She wanted to comfort him. But she also wanted to know what the others were thinking.

"Look G...we, we like her..we wanna be there for you, and her, if that's what you need." Ray said softly, his hand rubbing Gee's shoulder.


"She's strong Dude...she'll make it.." Bob added, sounding sincere. Gee nodded his thanks.

"AND if she doesn't.." Mikes added quietly, "we'll be there for ya then too Bro... Mikes had lived through a death of someone they all loved. He KNEW Gee was going to take her death VERY hard.

"WAIT!!! Hold on here!" Brian said sternly. "This IS SW we're talking about here...I wouldn't count her out just yet..Hell I mean she got Frank to dress up like Fuckin Clark Kent for coffee for fuck's sake! I wouldn't put it past her to kick this cancer's ass." he ended with a smirk. "She's a tough cookie Gee. AND she loves you."

Gee couldn't help but smile. "That's true...AND now that she's got the girls to keep her company when we can't that'll help keep her spirits up right?"

As if on cue she heard Casey yell from the front of the bus. Apparently the girls had given the boys some privacy to discuss things. "30 Miles to the city limits! We need to find out the hospital's name. Gee why don't you go and wake sleeping beauty?"

"OOH I get to use my GPS!" Cougar squeeled from the front.

"Unngh The fuck time iz it?" Bolt grumbled, she obviously had NOT had her coffee.

Bella heard Gee's shuffling footsteps as he came back to their bunk. She quickly laid down pretending to sleep.

Gee crawled into bed behind her and kisssed her on the temple. "Open your eyes faker..I Know you heard..I heard your heartrate change...I never wanna NOT hear that beat in my ears.." he put two fingers under her chin and turned her to face him. "Come on baby...let me see those blues.."

She waited untill she knew he would be the first thing she saw. She opened her eyes and smiled up at him. "Let's go and find me a cure." he grinned at her and his lips took hers in a sweet morning kiss.

He pulled away with a deep inhale, he pressed his forehead to hers and with a smile Gee said."Fuck yeah BellaBabe. Today is the day you show this cancer who's boss."

Horray! Now go get cured Bella.

If she dies Lis...I'll do something nasty...I promise that.
