They've been around since '89, I believe, and have been on a an indefinite hiatus since '98. But their music and lyrics astound me, and if you get a chance, DEFINITELY check them out. They're basically an indie folk band, a bit like Bright Eyes in some way, but are a breed of their own. My volleyball team put it on a CD and it psyches us up before we play. Now that I've had time to learn more about Mr. Williams, I honestly think the man is truly an artist.
