Vampire (Updated 9 August)

*Runs off to find said prologue and edit it to death before anyone else can see it*

I will post it, cos I'm really interested in what you think of it, but I will be a good girl and wait til Lis has set up the non-MCR fiction bit because, although the entire book was inspired by a Gerard dream, it is absolutely nothing to do with him or MCR.

Dreams of Gerard?

I dreamed once that I saw him brush his teeth...isn't that odd?

My mother dreams better dreams about me and Gerard than I do. *sigh*


Anywho! I bet it will be tremindous.

Yeah, I don't dream of Gerard very often, but they are usually quite good dreams. This story (the vampy one) was from a dream about him where he was the vamp and I was the prey, albeit the willing pray . But I still can never get the dreams to go as far as I want them to, oh well, maybe tonight

Okay, so this fic just will not leave me alone and as Nero and I are currently at loggerheads about where his story is going (Yes, sad, isn't it, in my head he is a real person with opinions and objections about what I write), I'm going to give this a shot for a little while.

This is a micro-mini-teeny-tiny update, but proof that unlike the characters in this story, the plot is far from dead.

I was floating, falling through the darkness, slipping into the last stage of my death. I could feel his strong arms surround me, even in these last seconds, my still aching heart wishing he would never let go.

My mouth was suddenly overwhelmed with the taste of copper, burning through me, suffocating the last breath from my lungs.

"I'm so sorry."

This is going somewhere now, but I'm really going to have to think about what rating to give it, because it's not going to be a happy sunshines and rainbows story.

I awoke in a strange room, lying on a bed covered with peacock blue sheets. Confused, I sat slowly, trying to get my bearings. This didn’t seem like what I had imagined the afterlife would have been, I was expecting clouds and wings, or at least flames and cloven hooves. The room was dull, but not entirely dark and looking down I could see that I wore the same clothes that I had worn to the club.

Then I saw him, sitting at the bottom of the bed on the floor, so only his face was visible to me. The man from the club, my supposed saviour, staring at me through haunted eyes, a veil of guilt masking his beautiful face.

“What have you done to me?” I demanded. Then slowly it began to dawn on me. Yeah, I know, pretty dumb, but hey, I did just die, so I’m allowed a little time to regain my senses. “You turned me?”

He nodded, “I’m so sorry.”

“What the hell were you thinking of? Don’t you realise that I chose you because I wanted to die, not because I wanted to become immortal? So what, now I can just feel alone until the end of time? Thanks so much, that’s just great.”

He slowly rose from the floor, “You will never feel alone again, I promise you that. I turned you because I saw something in you that I have not seen in the eyes of anyone in over 200 years. You are special and beautiful and I had to make you mine.”

I scoffed at his words, “You don’t know me, you know nothing about me, not even my name, and making me a vampire does not mean that I will be yours.”

“Your name is Ariana,” he said, slowly kneeling on the bed and crawling towards me, “and like it or not, you will be mine.” Like a panther stalking his pray he crawled up the bed on hands and knees, slowly, sensually, bearing down on me, until I had nowhere to escape to.

I knew in that moment that any resolve I may have had, even one minute ago, was gone. He was right, I was his, whether I liked it or not. He knelt above me, arms at either side of my shoulders, mouth just inches away from my own and I could feel my entire body react, just willing myself to move towards him so he could devour me once again.

Now on to a life of love and adventure!

Oooh, what shall happen next?

Okay, it's another micro-weeny little update, but this week has been manic!

“But your name, I don’t know your name,” I gasped, managing to break his hypnotic stare for a second.

“Gerard,” he snarled, licking his lips and looking at me hungrily. And then we were lost, no more words needed, just lust and passion and the contact of our lips.

But everything felt different, tasted different, so much more intense. I could hear the blood coursing through his veins. My blood, that I had given so willingly, but now I wanted it back. I felt a surge of power run through me and with my new inhuman strength, I pushed him from me, taking him by surprise, twisting his body and slamming it down on the bed. In a second I was on top of him, legs straddling his hips, my new blood lust shining in my eyes.

He knew what was happening, I could see that he was letting me be dominant, letting me find my way with my new powers. “You have had enough blood for now.”

I laughed, “I will tell you when I have had enough blood. But for now, I am just taking back what is mine.”
