Bear in mind I'm kinda old before I start this.
I hadn't really been too bothered about music for a while, you know, kids and stuff were distracting. Anyhoo, I was flicking through the music channels (looking for Bon Jovi *hangs head in shame*) and all of a sudden there was a corpse, getting out of a coffin and dancing down the aisle and then there was this weird, alien-looking man with the whitest skin I'd ever seen, except on myself. And that was it, I was just absolutely hooked. The video seemed so amazing to me and obviously the song got me first time I heard it.
Then I heard I'm Not Okay and I loved it (and it fitted into my life at the time - long story) and then I saw the video for Ghost of You and I sobbed when Mikey died. And at that point I knew that I had found the kind of band I had always been looking for and I have never looked back.
