Seriously ... where was I when the memo came out about the Twilight Saga?

Teenage angst (my favourite thing) - check
Vampires (my next favourite thing) - check
High romance - check
Great story writing - check

As you may have gathered, I bought Twilight when I was on holiday. It has become an absolute obsession. How can a book be so good? I was actually reading at points and realising that I couldn't breathe, which I'll admit is pretty lame.

Poor old Anne Rice, I've just chucked her off the "favourite vampire writer" throne that I've had her on for the past ten years, for a newer, better model. All hail Stephanie Meyer!!!!!!

Yeah, you're right, I've lost the plot slightly. *taps fingers impatiently and waits for Amazon to deliver the next three books*

I'll tell you one thing right now: DON'T READ BREAKING DAWN. You know, unless you are into horrible fanfiction from the depths of Twilight Hell.

I read the Twilight books, just because I had started and wanted to see how they ended, but don't like any of the characters. They all annoy me, really. Everyone except Jacob.:]

Oh, and I thoroughly suggest The Host, SM's other book. Kicks the Twilight saga's ass so hard it isn't funny.

I read them all because my friend Gena forced me to. hahaha

I didn't mind though. It took me two weeks to finish the series...Breaking Dawn isn't that bad...but it is kinda Harry Potter-ish. Just warning you.

Now my mother is being forced to read them...she is on New Moon...it's a downer...XP

(By the way...she is a total Team Jacob girl...but Gena and I like both the same. XD)

I have to admit, it really didn't take me that long to get interested in the book - if I'm not hooked by page twenty I usually call it a day Lis, if you can get past the slightly clunky writing style (only in parts) I think you would really enjoy it.

Can't wait for the film!!! And it comes out two days before my birthday, so can you guess what I'll be doing for my birthday?

I'm practically watching the letterbox for my other books to arrive (damn Amazon, how dare they take more than 24 hours to deliver three books), partially because I'm reading 1984, which is probably the scariest book I've ever read, and I'm thinking of dumping it for some Edward love!

OMB!! some of the shorts in there!!!!
and Wednesday I bought Untouchable..By Linda Winstead Jones!

I read it 280 pages in LESS than 24 hours!
I am not usually a fast reader but OH!! was it good

Aaargh, too late! They arrived yesterday afternoon. I'm already about a third of the way through the second book.

But I will keep a note of the two you suggested for when I've finished. You know, Amazon really should give me a discount sometimes, I buy everything short of toilet roll there!
